Day 39 - Max Recovery
Today’s workout was MAX Recovery. I don’t know if I still want to do this workout anymore I might alternate it for a different one…I don’t know we’ll see. It’s not insane enough for me (lol) but I rocked those high and low planks. Those moves aren’t new to me I’ve done them before on 30-day shred by Jillian Michaels. I work out with my hubby every morning I could see him was taking break while I was digging deeper doing low planks high planks but my shoulders were SCREAMING…
Dinner was Golden Barbecue Chicken with Brown Rice and Green Beans…
I usually have herb chicken but I was searching for recipes though SparkRecipes and found this one. Since I already have everything so I gave it a try. I liked it and even our little guy ate all his chicken. I’ll be making it again…
2 servings - Golden Barbecue Chicken
1 Tbsp. Brown Sugar
1 Tbsp. Lemon Juice
1 Tbsp. Mustard
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
1 Tbsp. Melted Butter
1/4 tsp. Garlic Powder
1/8 tsp. Black Pepper
Dash of Hot Sauce

Day 37- Max Interval Plyo
Yesterday was my first Max workout and was about 60 minutes. There are many new moves in the Max workout that I still need to be familiar with. I was very sore yesterday after working-out but I’m feeling better today. All I can say Insanity is very insane… Do your best and forget the rest…DIG DEEPER. I ended doing the Fit Test 3 on Sunday instead. Here are my results: 1st, 2nd then 3rd:

Dinner for tonight was Tilapia with sweet potato and mixed vegetables. Our little man who doesn’t like sweet potato he ended up eating most of his tonight. Well I did mash his with little bit of butter, milk, and cinnamon and really liked it…

Day 32- Core Cardio and Balance

I did enjoy the Recovery Week even I did the same workouts for 5 days. Yesterday instead of doing Core Cardio & Recovery I did MAX Sports Training; it’s a 55 minutes workout. I really like the energy from it, great workout. I’m starting month 2 on Monday…Insanity to the MAX…DIG DEEPER!!!
I had the Chocolate Shakeology this morning after my workout. I didn’t have any fat free milk so I used ½ cup of whole milk and ½ cup of water. It was very rich and I liked it; of course I’m not surprised it’s chocolate (lol). I had it for breakfast and didn’t have anything else until 11:30 am. Would I buy Shakeology? If I could afford it I would definitely buy it.

Day 29 & Day 30 - Core Cardio and Balance
I’m doing the same workout for the whole week- Core Cardio and Balance for Recovery Week. Let me tell you this is no recovery week, at least not for me because I’m sore right now on my shoulders and I hope the soreness would gone by tomorrow. So today is day30, I lost almost 3lbs (from 130.5 to 127.6) I did take day30 pictures I didn't see any changes on my body at all just little bit on my obliques but I didn't take any measurements. I’m not even gonna post them I’ll wait for day60 (63) and my hubby couldn’t even tell between day1 and day30. Hopefully the magic will happen on day60…lol

Day 26- Pure Cardio & Cardio Abs

This morning I did my first month of this insane workout I feel very good. I can’t believe. Recovery week is so closed. I’m so nervous and excited about month2; I’m looking forward to it though and I know I can do it…DIG DEEPER!!!
Lunch was Spinach Lasagna Rolls - Gina's Skinny Taste
This is my favorite lasagna now since found this recipe. That’s my third time making this but first time with whole grain pasta. I had it for lunch so I don't have to feel bad for having two pieces (lol)...Here are the ingredients:
- Whole Grain Lasagna
- Frozen Spinach
- Skim Milk Ricotta Cheese
- Reduced Fat Parmesan Cheese
- Large Brown Egg
- 2% Milk Mozzarella Cheese
- Tomato Sauce
- Italian Seasoning, Salt & Pepper
I ended up having one more :)...

Day24- Plyometric Cardio Circuit
I’m still going strong with Insanity. This morning workout was great; I was soaking wet. It was so hard to do the level 1 drills, Ski Abs, and In/Out Abs because my hands were so wet; started slipping I hated that…DIG DEEPER!!!
This is one Sardine that I like to eat; so I decided to have it for dinner tonight. I know it’s in oil instead of water but it tastes so much better (lol). I get them at Costco pack of five. Tonight’s dinner was Quinoa with Vegetables and Sardine…

I had a great workout but Cardio Abs, I’m still not a fan of it. I’m not too crazy about the C-sit position and those ins and outs are tough on my legs, like Tony says “Do your best and forget the rest” that’s exactly what I did…
We went bowling for a fundraiser on Saturday and I was so proud of myself for not going overboard with the FREE buffet they had…I had 2 chicken wings, 1 beef/bean burrito, 3 celeries, and lettuce/tomato and some salsa. I went back and had 1 wing and 1 burrito. They even gave us tickets for FREE alcohol drink; I just had my water - tons of it and I was so pleased :) …
Lunch: Whole-Wheat Black Beans Quesadilla with Avocado…
Ingredients: I used dried beans and cooked them, grape tomatoes, onions, garlic, cayenne pepper, curry powder...

My plan is to wake up at 6 o’clock to get my workout done on Saturday but this morning I had a hard time to get off so I ended waking up around 7. I got ready, pushed play and dogged deep. I had a great workout and felt so good.
So after my workout I made the shakeology shake. I used 8 oz of fat free milk instead of water. I mixed it together into the Magic Bullet for less than 30 seconds. There was enough shake so I shared it with my hubby. The taste wasn’t too bad but when I had the first sip it was bitter and at the end I didn’t taste the bitterness anymore. The shakeology is really a meal replacement; I had 8 oz and it kept me full for awhile. Once again, thanks Coach Ange for letting me try it. Can’t wait to try the chocolate one.

Day19 - Cardio Power & Resistance
Since starting with this insane journey I’ve been drinking chocolate milk as my recovery drink. I have 1 ½ can of protein powder in the pantry which I barely use. I feel like I don’t really need to drink them; I already get enough protein from my food chicken, fish, shrimp, cottage cheese, egg, quinoa…)
I was so happy when my coach told me she mailed my two samples of shakeology; I still haven’t tried them yet. I need to get on it and use them. And I just start taking this new multivitamin for 3 weeks now I like it and it doesn’t make me feel sick. They recommend taking 2 to 4 per day, so I take 2.

Day 17 - Pure Cardio & Cardio Abs
GREAT workout this morning!!! I’m starting to love Pure Cardio; I sweated a ton like always. I love doing the power knees move; I can see some great definitions on my obliques and I love it. I haven’t taken any measurements yet I think I may lose 1 or 2 inches off my waist. Level 2 drills are still kicking my butt and I have to take breaks from them but I always feel so good afterward… DIG DEEPER!!!

I completed Fit Test 2 this morning. I cover up the previous results so I didn’t have to see them. I improved in most of them except for Power Jacks and Power Jumps; I get the same results as the first Fit Test. I laid down flat on the floor after completing the one minute Push-Up Jacks…WOW my arms and shoulders were on fire…
Here are the results: Fit Test 1 - Fit Test 2

I did two INSANE workouts this morning; ok not really, Cardio Abs wasn’t brutal as Pure Cardio. My intensity Cardio is gradually increased; I did the whole warm-up in Pure Cardio workout this morning without taking any breaks. I can’t wait to start week 3 and am ready to DIG DEEPER!!!
We go to story time every Saturday at Barnes & Noble; afterward we went Panera Bread for lunch. I had half of Chicken Strawberry Poppy Seed Salad, half of black bean soup and an apple. I had the apple later on when we got home.

I just registered for my first 5k on November 20th for Give Thanks. Walk. St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. I’m so excited and so nervous at the same time. I’m not a runner but they say strollers are welcome. My plan is to power walking once a week. My last power walk, I did 2.32 miles in 32 minutes so let see if I can do my next one which will be on Monday or Tuesday in 30 minutes.

Even it's a recovery workout I still got some great sweat out of it. I really like this workout; squats and lunges are just what my inner thighs need to get them slim down. I got my two samples of shakeology (greenberry and chocolate) from my coach Ange today and I can't wait to try them...

New Month…DIG DEEPER!!!
September is here; my goal is to get through Insanity program. I’m just taking it one day at the time until I get to the finish line. I always feel good after completing one workout and always looking forward for tomorrow. So, come on… GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
